Its greatest asset, as it nestles behind the Old Town Wall lies in its unique superb location at the top of the High Street overlooking Tenby Harbour in the heart of Pembrokeshire, a beautiful county of South West Wales. |

Tenby
In the summer months the whole of Tenby's quaint old harbour throngs with small craft and is visible from most of the hotels bedrooms. The town is steeped in history, once being protected by the magnificent town walls to the South West and by its Napoleonic St. Catherine's Fort to the East. The Royal Lions' location makes it a perfect touring base for this corner of the Pembrokeshire Coast. Tenby and surrounding area can also boast many tourist attractions, for example:- Manorbier, Carew and Pembroke Castles St. Catherine's Rock and Fort and the Monastic Island of Caldey Less than one mile away is Tenby Golf Course a delightfully situated eighteen-hole links golf course with magnificent panoramic views along the coast. |
Deep sea fishing, pleasure cruises and mackerel fishing, Trout and Coarse fishing are to be found at our own Penhoyle Fishing Park - just one mile away on the outskirts of the town, close to the village of Penally. Bathing and wind-surfing facilities are among the safest anywhere off the Pembrokeshire Coast.
